    The game features two play modes:

    * Platforming - the player maneuvers the car from roadway to roadway, performing connecting stunts to reach the finish line.
    * Time Trails - the player races around stunt-filled circuits to beat the lap records.

    Each mode of play is packed full of level content, increasing in difficulty, through 25 Platforming levels and 11 Time Trail levels. There is enough content for long, lasting game play.

    **** CONTROLLABILITY ****

    The car handling has been designed from the ground up for the accelerometer. The controls are easy, precise and fun. So much so that the player can hug the edge of a corner, using a jet assisted power-slide, and still feel perfectly in control. The car also features mid-air flight controls, allowing the player to nudge the angle of flight and adjust speed with air-braking. It feels very natural to play and we believe it to be the best driving experience on the iPhone to date.

    To me Jet Car Stunts is the perfect iPhone and iPod Touch game. It makes great use of touch and accelerometer features to not only create one of the best, and most addictive driving games on the platform, but an experience that, for me, can't easily be recreated on another device (except maybe the Wii and PS3 controllers).

    If you are vaguely interested in a challenging rocket-paced racer with attractive and crafty level designs then you owe it to yourself to check out the break-neck paced racing and fresh visual design of Jet Car Stunts.

    An amazing iPhone racer that you should absolutely buy if you grew up on and enjoyed games like San Francisco Rush. It's got heavy car physics, excellent controls, a great drift mechanic, crazy track designs and lots of opportunity for huge, satisfying hang time.

The combination of physics with rocket jets results in an incredible thrill ride of a game. The levels, which all unrealistically take place on floating platforms hundreds of miles up in the clouds, look simple but are nevertheless full of detail, with multicolored tracks and structures, and shadows being cast from the exact opposite direction of the Sun, which sits in a beautiful cloudy background. In Jet Car Stunts, you are never racing against any one racer (except, arguably, trying to beat players in the high scores), but more against yourself. There are the standard "beat the clock" races, but for those who don't enjoy that as much, the platforming stages, which are more about completion than about speed, are plenty of fun. Players should have no problem learning the well-designed controls, especially with a comprehensive and easy-to-understand tutorial. Jet Car Stunts is one of those rare games that takes a poor social platform such as OpenFeint and makes it work, by having a sidebar displaying the high scores of your friends for individual levels and your record of challenges. With dozens of levels on four different game modes and optional downloadable level packs, Jet Car Stunts is a must-have, whether your a racing fan or not.… Expand
