The best compliment I can give Jazz: Trump's Journey is that this could easily be a $15 game on XBLA or PSN, and I honestly hope it makes it into those consoles because this is a game that needs to be seen and played by those who might not have an iPad. But until then, those of you with one should already be playing what has become my all-time favorite iPad game.

JAZZ: Trump's journey is a much needed palette cleansing platformer for iOS; it may not be the most challenging title, but its gorgeously rendered world, ear caressing audio and buttery smooth controls make it a joy to play from start to finish.

Jazz has style, class, and excellent controls, making it one of the best platformers we've played lately.

Particularly beautiful for an iOS game, both on the iPad and iPhone, Jazz also enjoys a small price but great gameplay that make it hard to overlook. Its atmosphere and identity are strong, the music is fantastic, and even though its genre is overcrowded, it's really a title not to miss.

With its early-20th century aesthetic, awesome soundtrack, and solid gameplay mechanics, JAZZ finds a winning combination with great appeal.

A wonderful, articulate meander through the birth of a musical style, Jazz: Trump's Journey shows just how important and innovative iOS games have the power to be.

Its not just a clever idea, it's a clever idea wrapped in an extremely alluring (and well put-together) package. One that's totally worth playing.

If you choose to play this game, which you probably should, play it all the way through to the very end. It's an incredibly ambitious game that sets out to tackle an issue that most other games will often only hint at.

The play style of Jazz: Trump's Journey is wonderfully enjoyable for fans of the platforming genre. While the title does make use of rather common game mechanics, it also has a handful of interesting ones, and at least makes an attempt to use the commonplace in more unique manners. Additionally, the game's style is just fantastic, with any flaws being nothing more than picking nits.

Whatever you take from the story is up to you, but if there is one thing that you'll take away from this experience then it is the excellent platforming. The story and presentation is just the glue that ties it altogether, but underneath that layer of art and music is a love letter to platforming.

Jazz: Trump's Journey isn't the game I hoped it would be, but it's still an enjoyable and unique platforming adventure from beginning to end.

This cute platformer is worth a look regardless of your taste in music.

Jazz: Trump's Journey is a high-class game that wouldn't look out of place on the PC or XBox Live Arcade. Whilst not quite rubbing shoulders with the giants, it can still hold its head up high amongst its contemporaries.

What really shines in Jazz: Trump's Journey is the visuals and the audio. If you dig a bit deeper you'll find a good but somewhat unfair platform game with a passable time stopping mechanic.

A brave game in many ways, then, but above all, an enjoyable one.

Jazz: Trump's Journey is one of the most stylish platform on the App Store, but its wonderful graphics and beautiful soundtrack are the only strengths. Hopefully the next update will improve its flawed controls and the unforgivable localization.

A good but not exceptional game. Definitely worth playing because we feel it's one of the more intriguing titles on the App Store, but just a step short of being one of the year's best.

It sells itself as a game with a unique and engaging story, and that's something it simply doesn't have. Setting aside the translation, the message of the game is still iffy at best and you'll only find parallels to Louis Armstrong if you squint really hard. But it is, for the most part, a solid, fun platformer.

Full of grammatical errors and with a lack of challenge, this game doesn't keep its promises and fails on too many levels. The only thing that saves it from hell is the funny style in which it was made.
