Repetition with Mystery of the Japanese Werewolf is pretty much the only issue. The witty meta-referential lines start to get old after they're repeated. The new abilities wind up just being the same as the old ones, just with the ability to destroy new blocks. Even the boss enemy recurs with similar ways to defeat him.

Dinosaurs, spaceships, and hero-girls: Three great tastes that were obviously meant to go together.

Mystery of the Japanese Werewolf is one of those indie titles that deserves all the attention it can get. Quality is good, the entertainment value is high, and the price is ridiculously low. Pick this up the next time your iGadget hungers.

A side-scroller with labyrinth areas, upgrades earned off bosses, chip tune music, pixel art, and a talking dinosaur. Far from polished but its charm should delight a few.
