Feb 6, 2011Iron Man 2 for iPhone and iPod Touch looks very similar to the console version, which is both a good and a bad thing: there are plenty of actions you can perform by using the armor, but the touch screen controls are often clunky and the difficulty isn't challenging enough.
-
Jan 9, 2026Too much of Iron Man 2 just feels too uneven to recommend it. The camera is as much of an enemy as the Hammer drones. The checkpoint system is almost overwhelming.
-
Feb 6, 2011Fans of the movie or comic book character might take exception to Tony Stark's portrayal in the Iron Man 2 game, but there are still some amusing moments despite the game's fairly limited content.
-
Feb 6, 2011Iron man 2 is a fun game, but it's far too easy. You'll breeze through it's 9 levels in just over two hours, and even then it will feel more like a theme park thrill ride than an intense action game.
-
Mar 20, 2011Ultimately this game is best avoided. Technical problems and lacklustre gameplay have ensured that Iron Man 2 may be Gameloft's biggest fall from grace to date.
-
Feb 6, 2011The bottom line is that you could replace Tony Stark/Iron Man with any other character/villain combination and this game would be the same.
-
Feb 6, 2011Dull action and technical quirks do nothing to galvanise the iPad version of Iron Man 2.
-
Feb 6, 2011Tony Stark's high-tech robot suit may boast an alluring sheen, but the core gameplay in Iron Man 2 is rusty and uninspiring.
-
Feb 6, 2011Iron Man 2 is an ambitious movie tie-in that feels like it spent more time in planning than production.
-
Feb 6, 2011After spending more time with the international release over the last week, it seems safe to take a pass on this game.
-
Feb 6, 2011Unfortunately, the small handful of good moments cannot overcome the monotonous gameplay.
-
Feb 6, 2011The experience as a whole is entirely forgettable.
