Where it counts, the game gets it right. Physics are obviously everything in a snooker sim and here they're as true to life as you would expect, meaning that despite some control issues, International Snooker 2012 is a lot more fun to play than anything I experienced in my cue-snapping days at the local Youth Club. Those were the days.

The game can be quite hard when your opponent chooses to be not forgiving and one mistake at the beginning of the game will surely lead to your defeat. But that's alright, the main problem I had was a total lack of any story or plot (which probably is the point with simulations), but which on the other hand means repetitive games with faceless opponents, which at the end can be quite boring. Still, my score is 8 out of 10. Expand
