    The graphics are fantastic for a mobile version of a console game, the roster is expansive, the fights are challenging but fun at the same time, and the controls work well for what it’s worth. I do wish that it wasn’t such a pain to get hero shards to get more characters, because of course the good ones are always super expensive and costly, and I could do without the energy system, but hey, I suppose that’s a good reason for me to pick up the PlayStation 4 version eventually. I recommend checking out Injustice 2 if you’re a fan of the original game, love DC, or just want a fun fighting game.

    Visually, Injustice 2 is a feast, with those aforementioned cinematics backed up by pretty good-looking character models once the fighting actually begins. In motion, they sometimes are a little stiff, and blended with the controls, the whole experience just isn’t quite as crisp as it feels it could be. But then you’ll see one of the ultimate moves play out, like Cyborg boom tubing an opponent to Apokalips and seeing the poor sap get beat up by two Parademons before returning to Earth and getting a huge sonic cannon blast to the face. Somehow that makes your small gripes about the game go away.

    The mobile version of Injustice 2 improves the experience of the first episode, delivering a classic gesture fighting game with plenty of characters to unlock, different game modes and some spectacular sequences.

Kellett egy kis idő amíg a vezetőség összeszedte egy magát, megtartották a csapat nagy részét és újraalakultak Netherrealm Studios néven és a 2011-es Mortal Kombat újragondolásával valósággal a köztudatba robbantak. Várható volt, hogy ezzel még nincsen vége, viszont a 2013-as folytatás előtt egy svédcsavarral piacra dobták a Injustice – Gods Among Us (ugyancsak verekedős játékukat). Ahol nem a brutalitáson és a valósághű (néha túlságosan is) kivégzéseken volt a hangsúly, hanem fogták a DC univerzum szuperhőseit, egy kupacba rakták őket, alapul vették az eredeti (valljuk be zseniális) Justice League konfliktust és egy rendkívül szórakoztató és látványos bunyózást csináltak belőle. A Mortal sorozat rajongói között kissé megosztott volt a vélemény, de az általános 78%-os metacritic pontozás valljuk be a mai napig nagyon jónak számít.

    Nem is volt kérdés tehát, hogy folytatni fogják, a 2015-ös Mortal Kombat X után két évvel később ki is jött az Injustice 2. Mondanom sem kell, hogy a játék bombasiker lett, kijavítottak benne minden apró hibát, felturbózták amit kellett, lelassították ami túl gyors volt és voila a mai napig közel 90%-on csücsül. Nem is volt kérdés tehát, hogy készíteni fognak belőle egy mobilos változatot, az első rész iOS változatához nem volt szerencsém, de a második részé éppen a napokban jött szembe velem.

    Az Injustice 2 mobilos játék ahogyan az elvárható volt egy ezerszer egyszerűbb és végletekig lecsupaszított változata a zseniális nagytesósnak. Valójában igencsak kicsi lesz a lehetőségeink tárháza, hiszen lesz egy alap minden karakternél jelen lévő 3 hites kombó, amihez csak a képernyőt kell tapizgatni, majd lesz a négy irány (előre, hátra, fel és le) majd pedig maga a védekezés, amit vagy az adott gombbal vagy a kettő újunkkal tudunk elérni. Namost a védekezés olyan dolog amit jóval az ellentámadás előtt meg kell kezdenünk, különben nézhetjük ahogy végigvernek minket a képernyőn. Nincsen counter, nincsen ellentámadás, nincsen break, nincsen semmi. Szóval egy nagyon de nagyon buta, adok kapok stílust kell felvennünk a siker érdekében, ami eleinte fájdalmasan primitívnek fog tűnni. De!

    Itt van egy hatalmas nagy de; a játék annyira magával ragadó, látványos és élvezetes, hogy egyszerűen képtelenek leszünk abbahagyni. Megszokjuk azt a keveset ami van, elfogadjuk és megszeretjük, majd nem is olyan sokkal később már szeretni is fogjuk. Rég volt már olyan játék ami elsőre négy ponttal indul nálam és ennyit ingadozott volna a tesztelgetés alatt. Az Injustice mobilos változata ilyen. Fogalmam nem volt mennyit adjak rá, hiszen valljuk be nagyon megszerettem, aztán jött valami ami mindent eldöntött, de ne menjünk ennyire előre.

The main problem with IJ2 is that gamers are attracted to the fighting mechanics and graphics but are eventually led to experience the highs and mostly lows of a slot machine gambler. Fighting with good and interesting characters provides the enduring pleasure of the game. These characters cost $30 ($50 at higher star power). You can grind with lesser characters for months to get them but that gets tired fast. Eventually, to avoid the grind, you must spend real $ or gamble by using power gems (earned by playing, logging in daily, real $ but not as much, etc.) to buy character packs that offer a chance of getting "shards" that, when aggregated to sufficient levels, can unlock one of the better characters. The packs are advertised as providing "an increased chance" of getting (the shards of) a better character but those odds are hidden and very poor. So, faced with the choice of (a) continuous grind, (b) paying $30 a character, (c) character pack gambling that is rigged to be extremely unlikely to produce desired characters or (d) finding a better game it doesn't take long to realize (d) is the best option. That said, you can have a bit of fun before reaching that conclusion. The game could have been enduringly fun if it was not rigged to drive people to gamble and lose so that they will then spend real money for the better characters.… Full Review »
