    V1.0.1/iPhone 11. GOOD: Character design. Draw distance. References to Honkai Impact 3rd. Dynamic tutorials. Fights interesting. BAD: Traveling "because why not" and you saw "a bad guy" in dreams, game takes the worst RPG cliches to continue the plot. Pay to Waifu if you want to start with familiar characters (from HI3rd). Massive farming is invisible wall of progress (bad experience fromV1.0.1/iPhone 11. GOOD: Character design. Draw distance. References to Honkai Impact 3rd. Dynamic tutorials. Fights interesting.     Honkai manages to delight in many different ways, from its mechanics to the world-building to the superb anime-like presentation. Yes, the F2P elements are there, but at least for now, there is a ton of fun to be had in Honkai without having (or being forced) to spend any real life cash.

    Honkai Star Rail is a stellar, interstellar turn-based RPG that pushes the boundaries of what we’ve come to expect from the genre. With its tight combat, charming characters, engaging narrative, and stunning world, it’s proved itself to be so much more than a Genshin clone, and I can’t wait to see how it grows.
