    Heavy Mach 2 offers a semi-casual mech-combat game with lite RPG elements, somewhat imperfect and lacking in depth, but overall a brilliant game that's easy to recommend. With standout controls, excellent visuals and nonstop action, Heavy Mach 2 should not be missed by mech fans or action gamers.

    The menu system and inventory aren't intuitive, but fortunately it's a doddle to drive a mech and lay waste to every piece of machinery you see.

    It won't appeal to anyone adverse to grinding or learning a clunky user interface, but Heavy Mach 2 will give Mech action fans hours of fragging fun.

    While the original Heavy Mach was a great sidescroller, the sequel has translated well to the overhead view along with improving nearly everything from the first game.

    Heavy Mach 2 tries too much in my opinion to span too many genres.
