    The game is filled with computer-controlled players aka bots, which ruins the interactive experience and makes it feel like there are no real people playing. Also, I'm quite sure that the game is heavily manipulated in favor of certain outcomes.

    Game was once a masterpiece, now its just another one of bobbys victims, the game has become so broken and so many pointless game breaking cards added to just make money that its become a miserable experience in every way possible

    The game is a pay-to-win PoS. Battlegrounds are NSW poker machines in disguise. Stay away. This is not what computer gaming should be. Blizzard should be disgusted. I hate the fact I've spent so much money on this abuse, stay away!!!

    Played for over 3 years (when it was first released, have quit long time ago). It always has and it will always be a pay 2 win trash, sure, there are couple mildly interesting things here and there, but the p2w and rng fiasco is ten fold what it used to be.

    Do not look at the reviews of the paid, bootlicker critics. Anyone one who has played the game can tell you that it's notoriously unbalanced, bugged, a cash grab and over all a terrible experience.

    This game is a lot of fun. Besides not being clear on how to surpass Aprenticenship and being 45% luck-based, the game is just entertaining. The cards are creative. The gameplay is genius, the music the settings, the board, the art are all beautiful. Very well made... And free!

    As a big Magic fan, I sure gotta try this one. No review needed for I guess everybody knows this one nowadays. I must admit, I lost interest after a long period of time and I actually don’t know why.

    if u play with mage u cant lose,this game sucks hard,and when u play arena u cant get legendary card,in packs u cant get legendary too...pay to win game

    Blizzard doesn't care if you have fun on this game. They only care how much money you pay them. Hearthstone is dead. It is no longer recommended to play. Try another game and save yourself time and money.

    Every year Hearthstone gets worse and worse. I've been playing since beta. Now they implemented a battle pass system where you get significantly less gold, require more time to grind, and they have more cards to collect mid expansion. And they LIED saying that every player will earn more gold- when in reality players earn significantly less. Blizzard used to be a great company - and now all of their products are corrupted by the greed of Activision and the company is no better than EA or any other greedy big gaming company.     Frustration based game with added programming to ensure people stay at a certain amount of frustration so they are more likely to pay money in a futile attempt to end their frustration.

    The game is designed and programmed to make you feel bad so long you try to pay to get rid of the bad feelings. Why play a game designed to make you feel bad?

    A game that has gone completely off the rails and become an RNG nightmare. A real nightmare, I played the game for some time and had fun, and every year luck and bad luck had more and more to do with winning. A true nightmare. There is actually a card printed thats purpose is to discover the PERFECT card for the situation. Its absurd. Its a shame how awful this game has become.

Its kinda like a slotmachine you just pull that lever and either win or lose by random rng (that is of course only if you have the mandatory meta decks) and then sometimes you win and get blinking light that says you are a winner.     This game is not playable after latest update. Crash by crash, disconnect by disconnect… But… buy addons and enjoy the „random“. Pay to win

    Es el peor juego de cartas de lejos. SI puedes evitar jugarlo, hazlo. Se parece más a una tragaperras (necesitas pagar para divertirte y es todo pura aleatoriedad) que a otros juegos de cartas como Magic The Gathering. Una basura en la que cada nueva expansión fomentan el powercreep para que tus cartas antiguas sean peores que las nuevas y te veas forzado a seguir pagando.

Second, by itself there are many things that could be done in order to make the game more enjoyable. The biggest thing that can be done is provide players a better way in which they can obtain more card pack. This is one of the biggest things that makes people not want to get involved and form my understanding, considering I only started playing February of this year, opportunities have been decreasing. This is a game that will require quite a bit of investment to get into but once you get yourself situated there is quite of bit of fun to be had. I think this particular update has breathed new life into the game because more classes/decks are viable and so the game seems to be in a balanced state. This is unlikely to stay the case considering that a patch is eventually inevitable. That being said, if you manage to play the game while it is in a state like this, I would highly recommend getting involved and enjoying your time with it. It like many other games benefit from playing with friends as it makes certain questing easier and sometimes mutually beneficial. On a technical side, the game seems pretty optimized to mobile and I have only encountered a few hiccups over the half a year I have been playing the game. Overall, I would highly recommend this game for those that like card games but as looking for one that is not as overly complex as games such as MTG.… Expand

    Did not enjoy this game. Its poorly designed, slow, and repetitive. Unlike a game like MTG which requires skill and strategy, this is a pay to win game. Blizzard has become a very poor company recently and I am afraid they are going to fail soon.

    It's like playing rock paper scissors but you have you actually pay with real money to use a whole hand just to be able to play one. Stuck with paper and you don't have enough cards to play rock when everyone is using scissors? Guess what Blizzard doesn't care! If something is overpowered they're gonna let it roam free for 10 months before actually doing anything about it. The developers only listen to the community WHEN THEY'RE ABOUT TO SELL SOMETHING. No report system for toxic players. The head developer, Mike Donais, actually thinks that a ROCK-PAPER-SCISSORS game is HEALTHY. That's how much of a dumbass the developers are. Buying an expansion would cost you around $300($200 if you're lucky). And their free content is just droplets to a sea of the expansion. They will just promise to bring you new features but bail out at the last second. This game has no redeeming quality, even fo- ESPECIALLY for free to play players.     I think it is incrdible game, it was a 10/10 on 2014 and it is a 20/10 in 2019.
    SIngle player is amazing, all the new adventures in rogue like style are very challenging and interesting.
    Multiplayer is huge, plenty of different modes from the casual player to the pro. Game itself is solid: interface, graphics, music, etc. It is not a pay to win game at all. If you want to play for    I think it is incrdible game, it was a 10/10 on 2014 and it is a 20/10 in 2019.

    It is not a pay to win game at all. If you want to play for pro competitions you may need top cards, but for 95% of people progression is good enough. I see many other talking about pay to win, if you only get fun if you get to top 1 it may be pay to win, otherwise it is plenty of fun for you.

Fresh released cards packs are overpowered and soon new one pack is released old one gets rework and nerf.

    That means that free user who played for months to get few cards will get something much less power cards in return and with that concluded you can recognize the pattern of pay to win system.

    Community is horrible. Any constructive critics and/or suggestion will be backlash-ed by golden gooses who enjoy winning in rigged, pay to win system and though feel as they accomplished something! Basically if you come and point out something that will remotely disturb that image you gonna get some hate!    … Expand

    Flip a coin is cheaper but is what this game really is. Pretty package though so the "journalists" gets tricked =)

    Shame on you "journalists" that give it a solid 100 always when blizzard do something that everyoine sees is not that good.

    In the meantime, Hearthstone is definitely worth the entrance free of zero moneys. Now, your time investment may grow to be worth much more than that amount, as is the case with many games under the Blizzard banner. That part, once again, they definitely have gotten right.
