The most important thing is that it manages to bring some of the feelings of the movie, an important achievement for a mobile game. If you like the theme, it probably deserves a try.

Gravity: Don’t Let Go is an intriguing enough app which ably serves as a complement to the highly anticipated film. There’s a multiplayer mode that is being offered in a future update, but as a free to play title it’s still a worthy download, especially if you’re in the mood for a cool little space odyssey.

The controls make floating around in space feel like one would imagine floating around in space feels like. I just wish it had more than three missions, because as a single-player experience it's over all too quickly and left me wanting more. The missions are replayable, but eventually you'll just want something new. Thankfully there's a multiplayer experience to help with that.

That's right, there's free competitive multiplayer out there for your mobile device. As of right now there aren't many people playing, and those that are don't actually play. They just sort of float around and are more interested with chatting. Disappointing, but I was always able to find a match and found some competition every now and then. There's a lot of potential there.

As a single-player experience it is incredibly brief and the multiplayer is in need of some actual players, but it's still a very fun game that makes excellent use of the movie's material and is completely free. It's worth checking out if you enjoyed the film or are just looking for a game that lets you float around in space rescuing other astronauts and repairing space stations.

There's an already fun game here that shows a ton of potential. If the online community were to get stronger than there would be something truly great here. As it stands there are still plenty of reasons to check it out. My total score for it is a 7.5/10.
