Gleamer doesn't aim too high, but as a result, it feels very grounded and straightforward, with a unique visual style to boot. You know exactly what you're getting into here, and the precision platforming holds up despite a few design flaws.

Gleamer’s clutter-free art style and basic controls mask a game with slightly more complexity to it than you’d expect (but not much). Some players will likely find their in-game avatar — the ever-moving cube — annoying, but despite some minor gameplay complaints what lies here is still a fairly solid platformer designed for the bite-sized consumption needs of most iOS gamers.

If you're looking for a new spin on the platformer, Gleamer's momentum mechanic offers a unique challenge. However, iffy production values and an intimidating difficulty curve make it tough to wholeheartedly recommend.

Tough and unrelenting, Gleamer has its moments, but it's not quite the full package.
