Even though I was frequently aggravated by the inability to purchase practically anything from the over-priced IAP economy, I still had a blast just rolling my boulder time and time again down the omninous, yet colorful mountaintop.

So in the end, Giant Boulder of Death is a decent endless runner game.

In true Adult Swim fashion, Giant Boulder of Death's oddball tone and gameplay are equally entertaining – in small doses.

A surprisingly fresh endless-runner full of charm and humour. No real improvements to the genre formula here, though.

It lasted for a little bit, but as with a lot of free-to-play titles out there, staying power was not its strong suit. While there are certainly things to unlock and grind for, it doesn’t feel like there will be any gameplay-related payoffs to work your way towards. But Giant Boulder of Death is certainly a good enough time to give it a look.

Giant Boulder of Death is just pure silly fun, and well worth a download for a cathartic burst of destruction after a stressful day.

Adult Swim is known for creating good games based on funny concepts. Giant Boulder of Death would join those ranks were it not for its restrictive freemium structure.

Giant Boulder of Death offers frenetic fun for a few rolls down the mountain, but the formula becomes tired after just a few runs.

The gameplay consists of rolling a giant boulder downhill and trying to destroy everything in your path for a high-score. Like in most mobile games there is a challenge system that gives you certain objectives to complete in a run, like destroying a certain number of objects in one run or reaching a certain score. These challenges are surprisingly harder to complete than in other games I've played, but that only makes them more satisfying to complete. "Giant Boulder of Death" is a lot of fun and very addictive. If you are a fan of Adult Swim's previous games that I think you will like this as well. It's polished, addictive, and most importantly fun. Full Review »
