Jan 28, 2013It's fun, good-natured and interesting, but just below the surface, all it is really interested in is squeezing some begrudgingly offered dollars from your pocket.

Feb 5, 2013Though it may be hard to believe, Beeline may have found the perfect way to distill the Ghostbusters experience into iOS game form. The fact that it is completely free and fun to boot makes it an even heartier download recommendation. So, who you gonna call? It should definitely be these guys.

Apple'N'AppsJan 30, 2013Ghostbusters is one of the best freemium games around with some great real time strategy gameplay that is made for everyone to enjoy. Ghostbusters offers so much content to dive into making it a should have.

Jan 25, 2013There are tons of enemies to take down, and they're all goofy and just a touch creepy. The game's events are fun to follow thanks to decent writing, and even Slimer makes an appearance without getting up in anyone's face with stupid antics. If you ain't afraid of no ghost, give Ghostbusters a try. Alternatively, you can just fire up your old NES Ghostbusters game. Horrifying!

Jan 25, 2013Ghostbusters is a surprisingly entertaining romp through our childhood, and a great way to pass the time. More so than ever, busting makes us feel good.
-
Jan 28, 2013Ghostbusters captures the charm of the movies, but the freemium aspect leaves a little to be desired.
-
Feb 9, 2013Ghostbusters does a good job in recreating the atmosphere of the movie and delivers an immediate and fun experience.
-
Jan 30, 2013There's always the feeling at the back of your mind that the game is a little over-complicated. Ironically, it's because it's so well presented and fun that you can't help thinking how much more fun a simple balls-to-the-wall blast fest would've been. The agency building template, like my trousers from ten years ago, just doesn't seem to be the most natural fit.
-
Jan 29, 2013The free-to-play design elements may hold some players back from completing the game, but it is clear the developers have a lot of love in their homage to the Ghostbusters films.
-
Jan 28, 2013A spook-tacular recreation of the Ghostbusters world, let down by dodgy spook-snatching and no-mark characters.
-
Jan 28, 2013We were expecting something different. The thing is we spend too much time doing our maths and little busting ghosts. Its free-to-play model won't allow us to play normally without playing, so keep it in mind.
-
Feb 5, 2013Lacking much of the tone that made the movies great, Ghostbusters is about as fun as being forced to slowly trudge through slime, and being overcharged for the pleasure of doing so at a faster rate.

Feb 18, 2013With no meaningful play mechanics and no structure beyond the one dictated by the storefront, Ghostbusters is little more than a Pavlovian machine designed to suck money out of your account a few pence at a time. There's a world of difference between a game that uses micro-payments and a micro-payment model that is simply delivered in the guise of a game. If Ghostbusters has any value at all, it's as an illustration of this important point.
