    Futuridium EP is an extremely challenging and very rewarding shoot'em up, or an addictive space jukebox, if you will. The risk is to hurl the iPad to the ground: play with it moderately.

    Futuridium EP is an amazing trip between 80's fascination and modern taste, shaped like an old school shooter with 3D graphics. It's a demanding challenge that could not please everyone, but surely a game that is worth trying, at least for a ride.

    If you can overcome the game's challenges - both fair and unfair - this is a very satisfying mobile shooter. Just be prepared to work a little harder than you should really have to.

    Futuridium EP is a very good game that so tantalizingly sways on the verge of being excellent. Should a future update make this title more accessible to the average gamer, it will be one of the true "instabuys" of 2013.

    Futuridium EP is an interesting space shooter with many rough edges. There's depth here, but only the most dedicated players are going to wrestle with the game long enough to discover it.

    Futuridium EP is a well designed package that delivers the essence of old school arcade, but stylized with modern flair. The game style isn’t for everyone, and the controls leave a bit to be desired making it worth considering, and just not as good as it could be.

    It’s a shame that Futuridium EP is such a chore to play because it is definitely one of the coolest looking iOS games currently available. There’s a stylish aspect to the color palette and polygonal level design that is undeniable. Sadly, though, a lacking core experience means that nobody—even old-school gamers—should have to require the kind of patience it would take to truly enjoy this one. Pick it up at your own risk.
