    This is a neat hidden object game from the folks at Chillingo. Don't let the cutesy characters fool you, though. There's definitely a challenging experience to be had.

    The game is eye pleasing, but middling controls, annoying – rather than challenging – obstacles, and an utter lack of adventure makes for a frustrating experience.

    As a piece of interactive artwork, Funny Wood presents a glorious feast of intricately detailed animations, exploration and discovery. As a game though, it's very lacking and its method of handling those meager gameplay elements, to make those items so unsatisfying to find, will leave players of all ages feeling frustrated, rather than challenged.
