    There's a lot of little frustrations that I have with Full of Stars, especially as the charm of the concept of space chaser meets interactive fiction wears off after you continue to fail against the difficulty presented. Still, it's a game that compelled me to sit down and fight against it to try and beat it. And with the promise of future content teased with additional pilots, and a long-term meta-game as you upgrade Blue Sector, along with the rewarding feeling of beating a tough level, there's a lot to like about Full of Stars, even if this game wants to beat you down to the core of your soul, too.

    Full of Stars is may have a few issues, but its choice soundtrack, beautiful visuals, and fluid gameplay really makes the game sing.

    If you are willing to slog through ads and a lot of waiting, Full of Stars gameplay is exceptionally strong. It’s beautiful to look at, thoughtfully designed, and fun to play, when you’re actually able to do so. I would love to see a premium version of Full of Stars which still includes its tightly constructed resource management and decision trees, but that would remove the ads so I could keep my head in the game, and my ship in the air.

    Full of Stars is a neat combination of ideas in a poorly executed package. Although it has a pretty glossy exterior, that doesn't make it any easier to look past the control, difficulty, and performance issues that it has. In fact, it makes things more frustrating. Full of Stars could be so much better than it is, and it's a real shame that it isn't.
