May 23, 2012Beneath EA's layer of crafty monetisation, however, Flight Control Rocket is a stellar effort. The generic sci-fi visuals and overly busy menus might lack the instant appeal of Flight Control's handsome '50s styling, and that game's purity is sorely missing here, but underneath all that EA sheen is a game with genuine heart.

Mar 19, 2012Minus the free-to-play shenanigans, Flight Control Rocket is easily the best entry in the series so far, as it sports a lot of fresh and fun ideas, as well as a groovy new theme that Firemint fleshes out splendidly throughout. It's also one of the best looking new iPad games.

Mar 18, 2012While it adds some interesting new ideas to the schematic laid down by the original, Flight Control Rocket can't quite focus its attention in the same way, landing it on the fun, but a little muddled runway.
