Aug 2, 2021Get the console version and I'll change my assessment.
Square enix long ago said that all the installments listed would be available on consoles ... we fans demand this minimum. -
Aug 3, 2021The game seems to be such a faithful remaster, but its missing one key part, it does not play on consoles, yet strangely the original did. i will keep trying to play it on console, but i dont expect them to fix this anytime soon.
To be clear Square Enix told its fans they might make it available on consoles if demand was high enough, this is the only way i can make that demand known. -
Sep 8, 2021Please bring this and other pixel remasters to the Switch. I buy consoles to play games. Since we haven't been given a venue to express interest, this is how we can express interest.

May 23, 2022Love the game, but adding my support for a PS4/PS5 console version! Please listen to the fans, Square Enix!

Aug 3, 2021I want to play classic Final Fantasy games on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, not on PC or smartphones.

Aug 2, 2021Final Fantasy II Pixel Remaster is a lovely remake of a game that people tend to either love or hate. Its strongest element is arguably its story, and that’s why I feel it’s hurt so much by cutting the excellent extra content added in the Game Boy Advance version. With that in mind, I think it’s best to stick with the old version of the game if you already own it and it still works. This new version is more modern in its presentation and UI, and ultimately it will be the one that survives. It’s also the only one you can buy now, so if you want to play Final Fantasy II it’s this or nothing. I enjoy the game, but you will need to be willing to put up with its eccentricities if you seek to do the same.
