Overall, the game plays great and is a good improvement over EA's first FIFA game, they have learned from their mistakes to provide a better soccer game for the iPhone. With the top-notch graphics, a well-balanced AI, and an enjoyable soccer experience, it's hard to pass this game up if you are a soccer fan waiting for the World Cup to start.

FIFA World Cup features a few minor necessary changes from FIFA 10 and while they may not be enough for fans to jump from the console version to the handheld one it's still a great football game for your iPhone.

World Cup on the iPhone is really a minor step forward compared to Fifa 10; the fact that this game is basically an enhanced version of the original N-Gage edition is a big problem, and EA should really think about investing on a brand new project to create a soccer game that lives up the quality of the Fifa series.

When the World Cup does come to an end, I can't envision playing this game aside from the rarest of occasions. Not even the implementation of vuvuzelas would change that.
