    CALENDAR ART is a form of paintings depicting Indian Gods and Goddesses, a style started by Ravi Varma (29th April 1848 - 2nd October 1906). These paintings evoke a sense of serenity and spirituality, with beautiful landscapes, Hindu deities with luscious features and human form, lavish ornaments, a generous sprinkling of gold and silver and trees loaded with flowers and fruits. They depict scenes from Hindu epics like the Ramayana and the Mahabharata and are considered to be among the best examples of the fusion of Indian traditions with the techniques of European academic art.

    This game is an attempt to bring attention to popular regional art forms, some of which are threatened by the digital revolution.
