Great music, beautiful art, lovable characters, however the English version of Ensemble Stars has practically ruined the franchise. With anGreat music, beautiful art, lovable characters, however the English version of Ensemble Stars has practically ruined the franchise. With an ugly homescreen UI, terrible font (why'd it take HE so long to change it from times new roman), and bad translations, its safer to just stick with the original Japanese version of the game. While I do adore the gameplay (great MVs, amazing stages/outfits etc.), the main attraction of Enstars is the characters. With poorly translated stories, characters are missing a lot of what makes them, THEM. Like, if you can afford to have Subaru's face plastered in Time's Square, at LEAST spend some money on getting a proofreader for your translations. As I said before, the English versions UI is much, much more ugly compared to the JP one. The homescreen is full of clutter, and the fonts used for things like "Scout" look strange. It's like they had a four-year old say "graphic design is my passion" and hired them on the spot. Really, the only good stuff the English server gets are the exclusive cards from the Chinese version. Overall, I love Enstars' music, gameplay, and art. It's just that when you take so much away from one of the main sections of the game (the story), it just ruins it. I'd much rather just play the JP one and read fan-translations (because at least they have proofreaders!) Expand
