Aug 19, 2013Dropchord demonstrates Double Fine's expanding range and competency as the studio begins to diversify. This may be a palette-cleansing effort for the studio's staff, but in Dropchord's case that sense of creative liberation works in our favour.

Aug 14, 2013Dropchord delivers an intense, compelling audio visual experience, and it's pretty original in terms of touch controls, but it's also hard to master and for the wrong reasons.
-
Aug 13, 2013This is a rare case of a game better played on phone than tablet, since the smaller screen lets one alter the beam line much more quickly.
-
Aug 8, 2013If you're in the mood for an interesting game based around electronic music though, you can do a whole lot worse than spending a few bucks on Double Fine's latest foray into the mobile market. Just don't expect a whole lot of depth, or a lasting impression.

Aug 1, 2013These little twists add a fair amount of variety to Dropchord, but the overall package failed to grab me. I loved the soundtrack (you can download it from iTunes), and the visuals are great as well. The backgrounds swirl and change in a funky lightshow that doesn't obscure the objectives. Ultimately, though, it’s a neat-looking (and sounding) game that’s easy to play and just as easy to forget.

Aug 22, 2013Dropchord plays much better on the smaller screens of the iPhone/iPod Touch as opposed to the iPad, due to the two thumb control method.
-
Apple'N'AppsAug 6, 2013Dropchord is an action packed experience that is well suited for iOS that just lacks long term depth to keep you coming back.
-
Aug 5, 2013Dropchord is one of the most stylish experiences you can have on your mobile device, and if you're looking for just a short experience to fill the good part of an hour, then it's well worth grabbing.
-
Aug 2, 2013Dropchord dazzles with its presentation, but doesn't make a lasting impact with its interactivity.
-
Aug 1, 2013Dropchord's thumping soundtrack hides a rather frustrating and repetitive game that just doesn't feel that satisfying to play.
