    If you have nostalgia for the franchise, you'll probably love having this on their iPad, but those unfamiliar with FMV games might be more than a bit befuddled by Dragon's Lair.

    Making better use of the hardware than most iPhone games, Dragon's Lair takes advantage of the platform's video capabilities, making the game a far better value than other handheld alternatives. The game's excellent presentation values serve to punctuate an already great remake.

    For fans of the original who have the need for a pocketable version to have with them at all times, it's great. But for everyone else it might just come across as a "So what game" and not the historical masterpiece it is meant to be.

    Dragon's Lair HD brings the classic arcade game to the iPad in high-resolution glory, but the gameplay is very primitive and unappealing unless you're a longtime fan of the game.
