Sep 20, 2013This faithful and worthwhile update of the original Double Dragon is an excellent blast from the past.

Mar 17, 2011The learning curve on the controls is steep and is going to turn away anyone that dislikes virtual controls right form the start.

Mar 10, 2011The scroll-fighting action is pretty solid, the redone graphics and music are excellent, and the numerous unlockables and modes will keep you coming back -- but it all involves getting past that initial control barrier first.

Apr 5, 2011Double Dragon delivers a good feeling of impact, nice graphics and music, and also a large number of unlockables. What a pity the touch controls don't work as they should, making the whole experience cumbersome and frustrating.

Mar 20, 2011A solid little beat-em-up that is definitely worth having around on your iOS-powered mobile device. It has its share of niggling issues, but still offers good entertainment value, especially for nostalgic gaming veterans.

Mar 10, 2011A mixed bag. On the one hand you have a classic style, 16bit brawler with everything you loved from back in the day. And on the other, a classic style, 16bit brawler with many of the problems that are as frustrating as they were back then, with the added problems of iOS virtual controls. Having said that, if you like retro brawlers, then you'll probably want to check this out despite its flaws.

Mar 10, 2011Double Dragon is better than expected, but the virtual controls still need work. Though movement works fine, too many kicks and jumps failed from wonky buttons. If those were cleared up – and the control positioning was changed – Double Dragon would be worth another look.
