While it has a few issues that I hope can be fixed in potential updates, Dicey Dungeons is plain brilliant and a perfect fit on iOS. If you aren’t a fan of deckbuilders or don’t like any RNG, this might not be for you. If you enjoyed Slay the Spire, I think you will love Dicey Dungeons.

The brilliant dice-based roguelike from 2019 has finally graced the App Store and it’s just as good as it was then, if not better.

Dicey Dungeons is a vibrant roguelike dice-rolling game with deceptively simple mechanics - the deeper you go through the floors, the more you learn about the underlying complexity of each character. It scratches that roguelike itch perfectly for fans of the genre, so much so that even non-fans might just become new converts after playing through the game.

The asking price is certainly not too high, as you are getting a highly polished game with many, many hours of content waiting for you. If you haven't already played Dicey Dungeons on another platform, you now have one less excuse.

Hold onto your seats, gamers, because Dicey Dungeons is the craziest, most mind-bending, out-of-this-world game you'll ever experience. TheHold onto your seats, gamers, because Dicey Dungeons is the craziest, most mind-bending, out-of-this-world game you'll ever experience. The graphics will have you questioning whether you're actually seeing what you think you're seeing. The characters are anthropomorphic dice with faces, arms, and legs. That's right, folks, dice with legs. And the enemies? They range from sentient playing cards to living swords. I mean, what kind of world is this?

But it's not just the graphics that are insane. The gameplay is equally bonkers. You roll dice to activate your skills, trying to defeat your opponents before they defeat you. Sounds easy enough, right? Think again. The game throws all sorts of curveballs at you, like forcing you to reroll your dice or making you discard certain ones. It's like playing Russian Roulette with your own fate, but with more colors and sound effects.

And let's talk about the storylines. Each character has their own unique backstory, and as you progress through the game, you'll encounter all sorts of bizarre scenarios. One moment you might be fighting a giant spider, and the next you might be navigating a maze of mirrors. But it's not just the situations that are crazy, it's the dialogue too. The characters are hilarious, with the Jester and the Robot providing some of the most ridiculous, side-splitting moments in gaming history.

But wait, there's more. The music is like nothing you've ever heard before. It's a mix of funky beats, catchy melodies, and mind-bending sound effects. It's like being on a psychedelic trip, but without the side effects.

And the gameplay? It's actually really satisfying. Each character has their own strengths and weaknesses, and figuring out how to best utilize their skills is a challenge that will have you coming back for more. The game has a ton of replay value, with different difficulty levels and modifiers that keep things fresh.

In conclusion, if you're looking for a game that will blow your mind and take you on a wild ride, look no further than Dicey Dungeons. It's the most insane, over-the-top game you'll ever play, and you won't be able to put it down. So grab your dice and get ready to roll, because this game is like nothing you've ever experienced before.
