Nov 18, 2011The gameplay mechanics are far from flawless, yet it's a lot of fun to be played, especially for quick sessions, making it an entertaining mobile title.
-
Jul 11, 2011Destructopus's bright, 16-bit vibe works well and is fun. But like Rampage before it, there's little variation or much reason to go back once you've played through.

May 11, 2011If you have a penchant for destruction and you enjoy the idea of a giant monster rampaging through a city all in the name of environmentalism, you'll get a kick out of Destructopus; just be aware he's as slow as he is big and that can lead to some frustrating moments.
-
May 11, 2011Destructopus may be the environmentalists' answer to the Rampage series, but problematic controls limit its enjoyability.
-
May 4, 2011Destructopus! offers a few hours of anarchy, and the old school graphics definitely give it that Rampage vibe. Rise from the depths and cause a little mayhem.
-
May 5, 2011The concept behind Destructopus is a good one, but bad controls make it difficult to recommend befriending this giant octopus.
-
May 4, 2011It's hard to take Destructopus! seriously. Yet, the cartoony looks, the trash-metal title track, the tongue-in-cheek environmentalism--are actually assets in the game's favor. Sadly, all of the ironic, ridiculous stuffing can't distract the player enough from the realization that they're playing a thin, easily-forgettable experience.
