    As an iOS title that offers literally dozens and dozens of hours of engrossing entertainment, it is hard not to recommend Defender Chronicles II: Heroes of Athelia to avid fans of the tower defense genre.

    Defender Chronicles 2 should satisfy those that want a unique spin on tower defense, or were clamoring for a sequel years after the innovative original game, though it is something of a flawed title.

    Tower defense fans and those who liked the first game should find more than enough content to keep themselves busy. While the first game stood out however, this sequel suffers from some of the design pitfalls we've seen in the TD genre.
