    So long as players don’t have anything against the idea of shooting wild animals that are just milling around nibbling on grass, there’s every reason to think that they’d have fun with Deer Hunter 2014. The typical freemium hurdles still get in the way at times, and the cash requirement for joining co-op hunts feels contrived, but it’s still a remarkably enjoyable and surprisingly strategic game.

    Sophisticated it ain't, but if you can stomach the subject matter and the gentle nudges towards the in-app purchase store, this is as fine a way to kill a ten minute wait as any other.

    Deer Hunter 2014 is a simple, immediate and fun hunting game, packed with lots of missions and some very nice graphics. It's also a bit repetitive and easy to beat, however.

    Deer Hunter 2014 may not be for everyone, especially for detractors who see hunting as a bloodsport. On a purely gaming level, I was more than pleasantly surprised.

    Deer Hunter 2014 serves up some robust shooting and free-to-play progression, but it lacks challenge, walks an ethical tightrope, and provides only a tiny portion of the complete hunting experience.

    I really like this game. It's freemium, which may get on some people's nerves, but the only even slightly annoying part of this is the energyI really like this game.
