Death Worm tries to be more various than Super Mega Worm with a lot of irons in the fire, more than 30 different enemies and an interesting upgrading system. The game has some issues with the camera, but the forthcoming update should fix it and adds a new Survival mode. Yes, the visuals are impressive and there's a lot of stuff to play with, but the 8-bit style and the humour of Super Mega Worm make it more fun and enjoyable. Hopefully, the rivalry between them will force the developers to improve and enlarge the games with the next updates.

It's the game I've continually been coming back to.

Fans of the original Death Worm or those new to the idea thanks to Super Mega Worm will get a kick out of this Earth-bound Shai-Hulud.

Death Worm is a very fun, very quirky iPhone game. Thanks to Super Mega Worm, it's been robbed of its freshness, but I still had a good time playing it and unlocking all three stages.

It's still the most well produced variation on the Deadly Giant Worm genre.

While it's not quite as charming or honed as Super Mega Worm, Death Worm provides a suitable vent for your pent-up aggression.
