Apr 12, 2011Death Rally is a remake of a 1996 game, improved in every conceivable way; a great return for one of the best Remedy games.
-
Apr 21, 2013This action-packed combat racer brings new meaning to the phrase "burning rubber."
-
May 23, 2011Back when all games cost upwards of £30, it wasn't easy to keep up with games like Death Rally. Nowadays, you've got literally no excuse to hold off buying the best top-down racing available on mobile platforms. Better late than never.
-
Apr 29, 2011Driving feels good, combat is crazy fun and the upgrade system is borderline addictive. It's true I wish there were more tracks, but hopefully that's a problem that will be remedied soon. But as it stands it's one of the best racing games we've seen on the App Store yet.
-
Apr 11, 2011Featuring gorgeous graphics with terrific lighting effects and combat-focused gameplay, Death Rally manages to excite and delight even after you've exhausted its limited content.
-
Apr 6, 2011As it stands, you'll easily get around 5 hours or more out of the game by simply upgrading everything and having fun while you do it. And even when you 'complete' it, Death Rally doesn't make you feel like you are done playing it.
-
Apr 6, 2011A great single player experience, just as it was in the 90's on PC, but it feels that more content could be added to beef the game up. For top down racer fans though, particularly those who enjoyed Reckless Racing, Death Rally is another great addition to the genre and the weapons add a new dimension to the racing.
-
Apr 5, 2011If you're looking for an iOS game with triple-A production values and you've already played both Infinity Blade and Rage, Death Rally is a good bet.
-
Apr 1, 2011Death Rally is still a fantastic game. The only major problem I had that I already knew about was the lack of multiplayer. Apart from that, the game is solid.
-
Apr 1, 2011For an initial release though, Death Rally still contains a good amount of content, and it's a ton of fun to play through.
-
Apr 1, 2011Death Rally isn't necessarily top-down mayhem racing at its best, but working your way to the next vehicle, weapon and upgrade along while blowing up opponents has an appeal all of its own.
-
Mar 31, 2011Made one hell of a debut, and the promise of free content will transform this already impressive shooter into one of the iPhone and iPad's premier Apps. Lock and load, hit the track and come out firing.
-
Apr 4, 2011What Death Rally lacks in content and features, it makes up for with customization and intensely fun gameplay.
-
Apr 1, 2011I didn't have too much trouble with the simplistic controls, but I do wish there were options for other players. However, in the end, Death Rally left me smiling.
-
Jul 13, 2011For straight up action, this is definitely one of the better iOS titles available.
-
May 12, 2011The only thing really letting it down is the bewildering omission of multiplayer, which a game of this nature relies on to give it legs. Sure, it's great fun for a few hours, but without real players to compete against, it quickly runs out of gas.
-
Apr 5, 2011A great remake of the 1996 classic. Crisp graphics, great controls (after you get used to it). And how can you not like a game where you can race against Duke Nukem? Unfortunately the game is extremely short, and wont last more than a few hours.
-
Apr 1, 2011Death Rally provides plenty of cool weapons and rides, yet the absence of multiplayer and tighter track designs prevent it from being truly killer.
-
Apr 5, 2011Death Rally comes back to life on iPhone and it's still an easygoing nervous arcade game. Actually, it's even better thanks to some stunning visuals. It's a shame though that some control issues, the lack of multiplayer mode and its dull Career mode keep Death Rally from being as memorable as it could be.
