Analyzing evidence, interrogating suspects, and piecing together the facts to figure out who is behind the crime can be a heck of a lot of fun. It's just a shame that you have to go through quite a bit of tedium in order to get to these good parts.

Almost everything in the game outside of the hidden object levels require you to spend the in game stars. You get these stars, not by paying for them, but by replaying the hidden object levels repeatedly. This wouldn't have been so bad if the game didn't make you replay the levels 3 or 4 times in order to get one star. As you might expect, replaying these levels drains the game's slowly recharging energy bar. So odds are you might run out of energy before you get the next star and end up either having to wait for way too long for it to recharge, or pay for a refill.

This sucks all the fun out of what could have been an otherwise enjoyable and unique mobile game. While the cases are well written, the ultimate irritation of having to grind for stars and dealing with the over-aggressive in app purchases kill the game. It's especially sad to think about when you consider the potential that was here. I give the game a 4.5/10=Bad.
