Jul 31, 2014It’s easy to play for a few minutes and be wowed by the quick, rewarding rush of zooming through busy city streets, but put in much time and you may be driven away by the aggressive pricing, annoying ads, and numerous other free-to-play trappings which put sugar in the gas tank of this otherwise great game.

Aug 8, 2014Crazy Taxi: City Rush is not a bad game, just a much more ordinary mobile game. The shift of the gameplay to some kind of endless run formula works well most of the time, but the result is mostly forgettable despite some good production value.

Aug 12, 2014This new edition of Crazy Taxi for iOS and Android devices offers the same high levels of fun and frenetic gameplay that this IP always delivers.
-
Aug 6, 2014There's quite a bit of fun to be had from playing Crazy Taxi: City Rush. It's buried deep under its heavily-monetized metagame, full of energy systems, wait timers, and currency systems, in a way that is extremely labyrinthine, and I wish the energy system wasn't there at all, or at least had a way to buy out of it, but they far from ruin this game.
-
Aug 4, 2014Crazy Taxi: City Rush is well-adapted for mobile, but the deluge of ads may make players feel like they're circling Times Square.
-
Aug 3, 2014Don’t let it’s business model turn you off. If you’re a fan of the Crazy Taxi franchise, this is a unique spin on something you already know and love that’s well worth giving a chance.

Sep 16, 2014Crazy Taxi Rush City is the latest game developed by SEGA. The game is an endless runner that, thanks to the very particular context, brings something original to a very popular genre. The gameplay is extremely repetitive and the game is ruined by constant and annoying ads and the presence of In-App Purchases is invasive.

games(TM)Sep 16, 2014Ultimately, you can only drive where you're supposed to drive - something we never expected to say about a Crazy Taxi game. [Issue#152, p.120]
-
Aug 20, 2014Crazy Taxi: City Rush is a strange riff on the classic game, but it does come into its own as a pleasing alternative to the original. Unfortunately, its reliance on free-to-play currency does end up making it more frustrating than it should be.
-
Jul 31, 2014A facsimile of everything that made Crazy Taxi great. Crazy Taxi: City Rush is fun, but it's not a patch on the original.
-
Apple'N'AppsAug 4, 2014Crazy Taxi City Rush offers a promising beginning, but in the end doesn't collect its fare due to a restrictive fuel meter, and redundant gameplay structure.
-
Hyper MagazineSep 14, 2014The more you play, the more you realise that this is an extremely simplified take on Crazy Taxi. [Issue#253, p.80]
