The sequel to King's most popular generic match three puzzler doesn't do too much different from the original. That's not the biggest issue with the game. Sure it's generic, but it still would've satisfied fans of the first. The issue here is that in an effort to get more people to spend money on IAPs King has raised the difficulty to an unfair level. Thereby breaking the game.

Unless you by more moves or power ups some levels are impossible to complete without dumb luck. Literally no matter how much skill you have at these types of games there are levels that you are just not going to be able to beat without paying King or what seems like random divine intervention. What's worse is some of these levels are going to pop-up only shortly after starting.

There have always been microtransactions in King games. This is however the first time they have so strongly attempted to force players into using them. You can technically play the entire game without them. Just don't expect to make much progress anytime soon. Without buying you are going to soon hit a level where luck is the only thing that will save you. King has created a game where how much skill you have matters not. Sorry Candy Crush fans, but this sequel is nothing more than a trap for your wallet.

just a terrible repeat of possibly one of the most overrated game on the iPhone. it's pretty much the same game, just more boring and bland than the urine-soaked first game.

Don't get this game. It's WORSE than the standard Candy Crush. Nothing has changed in this game, there are only "new" stupid effects. But hey, what do you expect from a game made by a **** company such as King?

This ruins every aspect and every thought you have about mobile gaming.
Playing a game made by a 1st year student in game development is much more fun in comparison with this crap. (I am a student in game development by my self...).
The amount of microtransactions and paywalls in this game is the same amount of stars in our universe. Please don't give King your money that you can spend

Please don't give King your money that you can spend on good games for PC, console or the hell you play on!!! But don't play on iPhones, Android or iPads because these are for people who ruin our gaming master race....
    0/10. Don't buy it.

Candy Crush Soda Saga takes Candy Crush to new heights for all new compelling matching that you can, and should fully enjoy for free.

It's an easy game to dismiss as "just another match three," much like the original. Hell, I even did that with Candy Crush Saga, as the initial out of the proverbial box experience isn't all that different from any other matching game. If this sounds like you, I seriously suggest giving Soda Saga a fair shake as it's an incredibly good game. Once you give it a chance to grab you, it won't let go.

This is a worthy successor to the original Candy Crush Saga with plenty for newcomers and old fans alike. Just don't be surprised if you end up with some cavities after playing for an extended period of time.
