Red Wasp Design seems to prefer detail to elegance, and that's exactly the wrong call to make on the iPhone. It's also a damn shame in a game with such an obvious affection for its own characters and the Lovecraft mythos.

For example when you fail a mission there's nomway to go back and reconfigure your soldiers. The only way is to restart the whole game again. Also the camera moves automatically to the character, so if you want to attack an enemy multiple times you have to move the camera every time, dozens of times... A waste of money IMO. Full Review »

This turn-based strategy game is similar in style to XCOM and UFO: Enemy Unknown, but replaces the aliens with HP Lovecraft's CthulhuThis turn-based strategy game is similar in style to XCOM and UFO: Enemy Unknown, but replaces the aliens with HP Lovecraft's Cthulhu creatures and german soliders in the trenches of World War One in Europe.

The gameplay is smooth and the graphics look really good on retina display and iPad. Playing the tutorial is a must due the complexity of the game.

The game has a sinister and brooding feel which is enhanced by the unusual music and warped sounds. The narrative is intriguing and takes you down some unexpected paths.

Can't recommend it enough, this game is a must buy!
