The creepy-crawly carnage of Bug Heroes 2 provides some of the best third-person combat we have seen on mobile in a while.

Bug Heroes 2 doesn’t simply succeed in reaching the rather high bar Foursaken Media has already set for itself; it breezes past it almost effortlessly.

Bug Heroes 2 succeeds at practically everything it sets out to do. Its graphics are great (check out the detail on the bumble bee soldier's fuzzy coat), the fighters' bug-like voices are adorable, if a little hard to understand, and there's enough content to keep you busy for a while.

Bug Heroes 2 has a steep learning curve, but mastering that curve reveals a strategic shooter with deep class specialisations and a satisfying online arena.

There is definitely a learning curve to master so the fact that there is so much single player content, makes the game kind to those who need some extra help before getting decimated by the experienced players.
