Jan 21, 2026Gameplay also gets quite tedious after a while with nothing really changing. Every few levels, a special mission kicks in requiring players to build a specific structure out of the blocks but this is just a race against time rather than anything challenging. With arcade games, players are used to relatively short bursts but on a system like this, longevity would have been nice.

Oct 5, 2011Brick People starts off strong and interesting, but quickly reveals that it's only a one-trick pony.
-
Oct 6, 2011Brick People is high on repetition and noisy spectacle, low on meaningful depth or addictive elements. Oct 7, 2011Brick People means well, but it's just not fun to play for more than five minutes. The App Store isn't hurting for fun arcade games, so unless you're a hardcore fan of Sega's arcade scene, let the little guys starve.
