Dec 16, 2011Breakout Boost doesn't have a lot going on for free, but its very fair and affordable IAP practices are appealing in a world where even someone like myself, who understands the move to consumable IAP, feels kind of annoyed by the shoehorning of it in games where it otherwise doesn't belong. Breakout and Arkanoid fans should give this one a test.

Mar 5, 2012Breakout was a great game, I remember playing it when I was a little boy and loving it. It's just a shame that as the videogame industry have evolved, breakout hasn't. Compared to some of the games that have come out in recent years it just feels ancient.

Jan 26, 2012Overall, if you are willing to shell out the extra $3 for the Booster Packs you'll be happy with the 200 extra levels, otherwise you'll be done playing this game in less than 5 minutes. Worth a try if you're an old school arcade fan.

Dec 22, 2011If only a little more budget was invested in the development of Breakout Boost, it'd play more like an arcade titan and less like a nostalgic cash-in.

Dec 16, 2011If you're a fan of brick-breaking games, there are countless better options out there than Breakout: Boost. Here's to hoping this is just a single unpleasant blip in Atari's future mobile plans.
