Dec 12, 2011There's plenty of repetition, but it hardly ever feels that way.

Nov 29, 2011This game is a great bite-sized retro masterpiece with focused gameplay and modes that will fit any gaming occasion. Box Cat's quirky, unrelentingly enjoyable role reversal will keep players crashing this kitty for a long, long time.

Nov 29, 2011Box Cat was a surprise to me hitting me with simple, yet addictive fun gameplay. The presentation is perfectly suited for the game, and it is easy to get hooked by the catchy chiptune soundtrack. Box Cat comes highly recommended, as a quick arcade fix with lasting power.

Dec 7, 2011Box Cat wouldn't feel out of place on an NES, but at the same time it works great on the iPhone. Its retro aesthetic is thorough and charming and the gameplay is perfect in short bursts, though it's the kind of game that can make you miss a bus or train as you forget to take your eyes off the screen.

Nov 29, 2011A retro styled, arcade blast from the non-specific past, Box Cat is fun, frantic and well presented, but its progression system and repetition might not be to everyone's taste.

Dec 1, 2011Box Cat is an amusing premise the will entertain for a little while but that's about all you're getting.
