    Yeah, I know, right? Who'd have thought that an idea like this would've worked? Yet with a clever interface and a welcome twist on the classic game, BTD Battles is a modest success brought down by intrusive in-app purchases, no real way to report hackers (which are all too common), and, perhaps most critically, a lack of any substantial new content. Battling players online is still greatYeah, I know, right? Who'd have thought that an idea like this would've worked? Yet with a clever interface and a welcome twist on the classic game, BTD Battles is a modest success brought down by intrusive in-app purchases, no real way to report hackers (which are all too common), and, perhaps most critically, a lack of any substantial new content.     while this game is very fun, balanced and addictive, i want to report two things. first, the amount of hackers is OP and the report button does nothing. Also the leaderboards are pay2win and getting on them is hard without in-app-purchases.

    Bloons TD Battles likely isn't what purist fans of the series would have asked for, but at this stage in the franchise's life it's probably time for something other than more of the same - however enjoyable the existing single-player games have been up until now. It's the classic gameplay remodeled for a different sort of audience, then, and even IAP quibbles can't take too much of the shine off the predictably outstanding gameplay to be found here.

    Problems aside, series fans should enjoy Bloons TD Battles, especially since the Assault Mode adds an extra layer of strategy. Get back to monkeying around. It’s your duty.
