    Like any really good game, Bloons TD 4 is easy to learn, hard to master, but still a deeply satisfying experience at any level.

    But like a jazz-master bringing new life to an old standard, or a Jazzercise-master making leg warmers fashionable again, Bloons TD 4 transforms the familiar into something fantastic. If, like me, you've wandered away from the tower-defending fold, this might be just the thing to bring you back.

    For $2.99 this is a very fun, well-developed game worthy of your time. Don't make me send my army of balloons after you if you don't give it a shot.

    Although tower-defense titles are no longer swarming on to the App Store, it's strange to see Bloons TD 4 sticking to the old formula instead of trying something more unique; a decent TD, but nothing outstanding.

    I was amused by Bloons TD 4 at first, but after a while the game's nagging balancing issues became more and more apparent.

    Bloons TD 4 was pretty impressive upon release, but these days it suffers from outdated graphics, gameplay, and interface.     Bloons TD 4 is cramped and laggish in later levels, but it makes up for its flaws with being one of the strongest TD games on the app store right now.
