    Bladeslinger successfully blends shooting, combat, exploration and a bit of magic in a beautiful looking package. I think we should be glad this is only the start. Episode 2? Bring it on.

    Bladeslinger has a great premise, a great setting and a thoughtful, effective combat system. Its camera and unbalanced power-ups are a bummer, but neither prevented me from enjoying the frightful and intense adventure.

    Bladeslinger is technically awesome and it's got so much potential, but everything is ruined by its cumbersome, unresponsive, terrible touch controls.

    True, the gorgeous visuals certainly warrant consideration (especially on newer iOS hardware), and the battle system is filled with potential, but the controls are a huge black mark on the entire experience.

    Bladeslinger may be a showpiece on iOS for how it looks, but the gameplay was just too ambitious for the touchscreen's capabilities this time, and the overall game suffers as a result.

    Bladeslinger looks so promising, but never taps into its potential. It’s one of the best looking games in the App Store, but the gameplay is rudimentary at best with other restrictions sprinkled in, sadly making it one to skip.

    You'll want to love Bladeslinger, but that love will go unrequited for the most part. Let's hope any future installments give a little more back.

    Bladeslinger's combat is a mess, the controls are clunky, the story is dull, and the whole thing is hobbled by monetisation. Avoid.

    i cant believe the talent-less clowns at kerosene games messed this up real badly. firstly the controls are wonky. instead of an analog touchi cant believe the talent-less clowns at kerosene games messed this up real badly. firstly the controls are wonky. instead of an analog touch button, it adds terrible gimmicks like sliding the screen all over the place to attack, and sometimes, the controls can kill you. the camera is GOD AWFUL! when you fight an enemy or a boss, you have to dodge the attacks. when you jump, the camera goes ALL OVER THE PLACE! the enemies are cheap, and are VERY strong. you need godlike reflexes to dodge them. the fact that the camera goes all over the place make them hard to beat even more. it forces you to pay for more power ups as well. want to add a little chunk of your health back? then give us money! this app is basically pay to win. do not buy this game! it SUCKS! and they want to make a sequel?
