    Despite such signs of a changing market, Beastie Bay might not be the finest of titles from the developer but there’s still satisfaction to be had, once fully understood, although don’t expect to be able to play across multiple devices as there’s still, oddly, no iCloud save support.

    Beastie Bay is a decent Pokemon-like layered on top of familiar Kairosoft mechanics. While I pointed out many criticisms of the game, there is something gratifying about the simple progression and cheery nature of Beastie Bay. It falls short of the bar set by other serious monster catching titles, but the interaction between simulation and hunting is just enough to pull you through the game’s arc.

    Beastie Bay isn't as multi-layered as the games it is based on, plus its battle system is lacking, but the great simulation features may still keep you coming back for more.

    Beastie Bay is a fun experience. It is very similar to games such as SimCity and Pokémon and it is very simple to play. The art style is aBeastie Bay is a fun experience. It is very similar to games such as SimCity and Pokémon and it is very simple to play. The art style is a nice touch, being a nod to the NES games. The game is pretty simple, yet fun. The battles are fun but later into the game they become to much frequent at the point of frustation. The island managing feature is weird but works. Beastie Bay is a fun experience, much more better than most of iOS games like Angry Birds and really deserves more attetion.… Full Review »
