    It's ridiculous how much Anomaly has to offer and how natural it feels on touch devices. I don't think it's out of line to call it one of the best games on the market at the moment, as its easily one the visually sharpest, most well-produced, and executed out there.

    The game looks fantastic and the touch controls are quicker and more precise than its PC counterpart's mouse. Its glorious mix of tactics and action is both instantly accessible and deceptively deep. An anomaly indeed.

    It's a neat concept that both companies executed wonderfully, from the different units to the touch controls and spectacular graphics that are on par with and arguably better than anything we've seen on Sony's PSP, at least within the tower defense genre.

    The great level designs, presentation and intuitive touch interface all come together to create a symphony of intense 'edge-of-your-seat' action, that is so engaging it's almost impossible to put down. If this game isn't already on your iPhone and iPad then what the heck are you waiting for?

    While not as beautiful or in-depth as its PC counterpart, Anomaly Warzone Earth for iOS is still a fantastically intriguing take on reversing the roles in a TD game.

    And even if you already own this game on PC or Xbox 360, I daresay the touchscreen interface and just having this game available at any time is worth the double-dip. It's on special sale for $1.99 at the time I write this, so act now before it returns to its regular price of $3.99 (which is still a great price).

    Chillingo did a good job converting Anomaly: Warzone Earth that, in this portable version, mantaining all the distintive tracts of the desktop version.

    The gameplay can be challenging, and it may not look as pretty as its big brother on the PC, but don't count it out. Anomaly: Warzone Earth is a perfect challenge for any strategist, and will have people looking over your shoulder to see what fate you've decided to bestow upon those evil aliens.

    As a game it is by no means revolutionary - but titles don't need to be the new black to be good. Anomaly: Warzone Earth has definitely got enough bells and whistles to keep casual players entertained.

    What is appealing about Anomaly: Warzone Earth is its value for money. For as little as $1.99 you can have a visually stunning tactical game that's as good as any on PSP or DS. As far as iPhone games go, it's certainly one of the top ten available, without question.

    A very good-looking game, and one that is well-designed. The levels can be daunting at times, but it really just takes some strategic planning in order to solve the game's challenges. For those who have played one too many tower defense games and want a new perspective on things, this is worth checking out.

    It's almost possible to execute a hands-off completion of a level, but the app will always find a way to surprise you and cause you to react.

    Not quite sure why this is getting an unqualified 10 / 10- it's not a bad game, but it's hardly going to set the world on fire. The graphics are good, it plays well enough, but full marks? No. The game is overwhelmingly brown, the plot is generic beyond words (i.e. there are bad aliens, and you must stop them), and you don't really get to do that much.
