An Alliance is established to build space stations throughout the galaxy in order to promote trade among the races, strengthen diplomatic relations, and defend against this impending threat. Each player takes the role of one of those races trying to build the greatest space station. Through card drafting, the players select locations, and use these to build their station, scoring victory points based on the placement. The construction lasts four years, and the alien race with the most points at the end wins. Expand

Playing solo may lack challenge, but otherwise, this is a terrific game.

A thematically strong card-based building game that's an awful lot of fun.

The Cublo Studio offers with Among the Stars a really interesting draft and strategic card placement game. Despite a somewhat disappointing artistic achievement, the latter has been perfectly well adapted to the touch support, this is an essential point because what Lon seeks above all in a card game is an efficient and fluid gameplay, which is the case.

It’s tense and interesting and while it lacks the polish of some board game conversions – Ticket To Ride or Antihero for example – and is a bit too easy in solo mode, it plays a fine card game.
