    If it was free I'd say it's an alright FNAF style game that falls short on being scary and a lot of annoy/dumb AI. Honestly it's not worth your time or money. Shame on fox give this game to a team that makes crappy puzzle games.

    The game looks quite good for a mobile game, I think d30 and Foxnext have done a good job on making the game look and feel like an aaa mobile game, also a good thing is that there are zero microtransactions, due to it being a paid game, but i'm enjoying it!

    FoxNext and D3 Go have presented Alien fans a new game for mobile devices entitled Alien: Blackout. When it was first announced; many fans thought it was the Alien Shooter that had been announced earlier in 2018 but that is to come at a later date according to FoxNext.
    The game has players play as Amanda Ripley; Daughter of the main character of the “Alien” film series and star of the    FoxNext and D3 Go have presented Alien fans a new game for mobile devices entitled Alien: Blackout. When it was first announced; many fans thought it was the Alien Shooter that had been announced earlier in 2018 but that is to come at a later date according to FoxNext.
    The game has players play as Amanda Ripley; Daughter of the main character of the “Alien” film series and star of the Alien: Isolation game. Although it is described as not being a sequel to Alien: Isolation, Amanda does briefly mention events from the game as her prior experience with the title creature.

    Hidden in an Air Vent; Amanda must direct members of a docked shuttle through seven levels as they attempt to locate items and accomplish tasks needed to escape.

    There is of course an Alien on the loose and using Motion Trackers, video cameras, and luck, players have to protect Amanda and the shuttle crew as the movie around the map.

    The Alien can come after Amanda who can protect herself by closing a vent. The issue is in doing so she cannot look at the map and cameras, and as such The Alien can vanish anywhere including one of the other tunnels that lead to her. Having to watch two or three tunnels as well as a map can be difficult as players have to rely on sound and luck to assume when the Alien is creeping down a tunnel towards them.

    Players also have to make hard choices like allowing the Alien to attack and kill a character so another one can move along toward a goal. Being able to open and close doors also allows Amanda to help fence in the creature but it does not always appear on the cameras and as such players have to guess where it is. Amanda can tell characters to hide or hurry up, but there is also the matter of a ticking clock which requires objectives to be completed before a timer runs out.

    The game does offer some fun and challenge but is short as with only seven levels, you can complete the game in under an hour once you get the basics down. The game allows players to pick up from the chapter they last completed and does offer some fun cut scenes to enjoy.

    The biggest issue is while affordable at $4.99 fans may want more out of the game as aside from the short play time; this style of game may not be the best use of the Alien franchise. It would make a great segment of a larger game but after guiding Amanda through Alien: Isolation; having her hide in vents and direct others seems to be a step down.

    While Alien: Blackout is not the game that fans had hoped for; it does offer some decent entertainment and hopefully will tide players over until the next game in the series is released.

    Az Alien Isolation minden idők egyik legfélelmetesebb játéka volt. Jómagam aki olyan címeken nőttem fel mint Resident Evil, Silent Hill, aki a Dead Space minden részét imádta, volt hogy csak egy plasmavágóval toltam végig az első rész legnehezebb fokozatát. Ilyen múlttal konkrétan abbahagytam az Isolationt, mert olyan szinten rettegtem játék közben hogy    Amanda Ripley újra bajban ...

    Az Alien Isolation minden idők egyik legfélelmetesebb játéka volt. Jómagam aki olyan címeken nőttem fel mint Resident Evil, Silent Hill, aki a Dead Space minden részét imádta, volt hogy csak egy plasmavágóval toltam végig az első rész legnehezebb fokozatát. Ilyen múlttal konkrétan abbahagytam az Isolationt, mert olyan szinten rettegtem játék közben hogy képtelen voltam továbbjutni olyan két három óra játék után. Jó ... lehet már öregszem és az idegeim nem a régiek, de bevallom ez a helyzet a mai napig, még ránézni is félek a lemezre. Mindezek ellenére hatalmas rajongója vagyok a sorozatnak, és azonnal rárepültem az anyagra, főszerkesztőnk támogatásával szinte azonnal előrendeltük a játékot, hogy időben le tudjuk nektek tesztelni. Íme hát, vajon megérte a várakozást?

    A Blackout gyakorlatilag egy folytatás. Az egész világ hőbörgött mikor kiderült, hogy csak mobilra fog kijönni. Aztán persze már az első pár percben kiderül, hogy ez nem véletlen. Mert gyakorlatilag azon kívül hogy pár szóval megemlítik az eddig történteket, illetve Amanda hangja az eredeti, nem sok köze van az Isolationhöz. Mind hangulatban, mind pedig játékmenetben teljesen másra kell számítani, már csak azért is, mert ez nem egy belső nézetes játék, hanem egy taktikai túlélő horror. Ripley újra egy űrállomáson rekedt, a családi átoktól valahogy képtelen megszabadulni, ezúttal a szellőzőnyilásokban bújt el és onnan próbálja terelgetni a legénységet, akik vesztükre az ő segítségére érkeztek.

    Azt hiszem abban mindannyian egyet érthetünk, hogy nincsen annál rosszabb, mint egy sötét, kihalt, füstölgő űrbázisban attól rettegni, hogy a világ legfélelmetesebb ragadozója ránk vadászik. Aki minimálisan is képben van az Alienekkel kapcsolatban, az pontosan tudja mennyire iszonyatosan félelmetes ellenfelek. Intelligenciájuk kimagasló, mindennek ellenállnak, borzalmasan erősek és még a vérük is savból van. A puhatestű ember nem ellenfél nekik, maximum csak akkor ha állig fel van fegyverkezve, főleg ha még lángszóró is van az arzenálban. Az Isolation legfélelmetesebb motívuma az volt, hogy Amanda semmilyen fegyverrel nem rendelkezett csak a végén sikerül összeheggeszteni valami ócska lángszórószerűséget, de kevesen voltak akik idáig eljutottak szívroham nélkül.

    Ezúttal még ennyi dolog se lesz a tarsolyunkban, nem tudunk cuccokat összerakni, nem tudunk elmenekülni sem, csak egy konzol lesz előttünk és ezt nézegetve – közben fel-felnézve néha – igyekszünk elérni, hogy mindenki életben maradjon. A képernyő közepén van kettő befelé mutató nyíl, ha ezek vibrálnak vagy ha gyanús hangot hallunk a fülesben, érdemes ezekkel átváltani Ripley-re, mert valószínűleg éppen minket talált be az idegen. Amanda nem hülye egy Isolation után már pontosan tudja mi a dolga, mindig olyan elágazásokban tanyázik ahol könnyedén be tudja csukni az óriás rovar előtti szellőzőnyilásokat. A bázison lófráló civileknek már nincsen ilyen egyszerű dolga, teljes kiszolgáltatott helyzetben vannak. Gyakorlatilag csak ránk hagyatkozhatnak, csak mi tudunk segíteni neki. Mi sem vagyunk mindenhatók, sajnos csak szűkös erőforrással rendelkezünk, meg lesz adva, hogy egyszerre hány berendezést tudunk működtetni mielőtt jönne az áramszünet (Blackout). A folyosórendszer bizonyos pontjain működik a mozgásdetektor, ezeket érdemes mindig bekapcsolva hagyni és akkor a maradék pontokat pedig az ajtók nyitására és csukására tartogatni. Sajnálatos módon nem lesz mindenhol ajtó, illetve ott lesz a szellőzőrendszer is, amin ugyanúgy tud közlekedni négylábú cimboránk. Szóval teljes biztonságban sose tudhatjuk majd embereinket.

    It is FNAF but you have people to control and try not to kill, and yourself. It has a few good mechanics, but its not scary. It would work even if it was not an Alien game, but since it is an alien game, you expect it to be scary. It is NOT scary in any way. If you want a 5$ time waster mobile game, with a few story bits, then buy it. If you want an scary game, this is not it.

    Has an authentic Alien feel, but gameplay gets old pretty quick and retrying an entire level is very frustrating.

    It’s a shallow and repetitive game, but at least it’s fair and understands what makes Alien Alien. Fans of the series and other horror aficionados will, in the end, leave more or less satisfied.
