    I can't put it down for long. It plays itself in the way that you gain experience points from doing nothing. The game reminds me of sorts of Heroes of Might n' Magic way back, but mixing role-playing games with adventure games like Diablo. At least in the vibe. It's free for download so there's really no excuses for not trying it out for yourself. It's absolutely gorgeous for the eyes andI can't put it down for long. It plays itself in the way that you gain experience points from doing nothing. It's free for download so there's really no excuses for not trying it out for yourself. It's absolutely gorgeous for the eyes and ears both. There's lore and stuff too, but the game is really all about pit-fighting 5 vs. 5 heroes against each other. And sometimes you get stuck due to that opposition gets tougher. Then you have to reconsider your teams formation, maybe level up a bit .. which means putting the game down for a couple of hours.

    There's a quite long roster of heroes and there's four (well, six) affiliations which are best described as humans, undead, fairies and beasts. You gain new heroes quite often and you'll find that you both need to combine them in tactics and also combine (fuse them) to level up at certain points. Oh, and there's micro-transactions. But, you do not need to spend a dime on this game because it's 100% playable and the gameplay rewards you constantly. i can absolutely see a "roof" coming in terms of game design but it seems as the game is well maintained and the developers keeps putting new stuff in (for free, still) and listens a lot to their players via Instagram and whatnot.

    Speaking of social media, the game is actually quite social with the option to join a guild (which is highly recommended, any guild will do) and there is chat, PvP events (one is ongoing now called Guild Wars) and you can share some of your heroes to help other players out with bounties. There's always something to do, but like I mentioned sometimes you just get stuck. No grief, you'll return and level up and off you go again.

    I really like this game. For a mobile game it's pretty unusual to see something this good. You should definitely check up on it, and read at the unofficial fan site (you'll find it) for hints and tips on how to start playing it. Be sure to link your account with either Facebook or iOS Game Center in order to save your progress, otherwise it'll be saved on your device which isn't safe if you accidentally delete the app or something.    … Expand

    I'm rating the game on how well it does as a gacha-based mobile game. If you don't like gachas this game (and many other mobile games) is not for you.

    With that out of the way, I must say this is one of my favorite mobile games out there. The art style is beautiful and there is plenty of stuff to do as the game moves on.     With that out of the way, I must say this is one of my favorite mobile games out there. The art style is beautiful and there is plenty of stuff to do as the game moves on.

    The Idle mechanics allow me to just chill and maybe do just the daily tasks for a week and when I return with intent to progress I've gained enough resources to do so without a need for extensive grinding. The game is fairly generous with items, premium currency and characters especially during events (which there are regularly). The gacha is also quite fair with customizable wishlists so you can influence which characters you get. If 2x 10 character pulls in a row end up not giving you an elite hero the next 10 character pull is guaranteed to give you one. There are collaboration characters that are not available anymore but players can rent them for 30+ days from friends so they can be used freely as if you had them.

    The monetization in this game can be very whale-heavy so you are going to be shown a lot of "awesome offers" of 50 to 100 dollars only available for limited time. There are 3 different Battle Passes with each of them at a whopping $24,99. The item content for them can be customized and gives those rare items quite generously but it is still one of the most expensive ones out there.

    The events in the game are varied and the developers often try out new mechanics. For example there is a fairly regularly recurring card-based PvP event and during a winter event they introduced a Match 3 mode to the game. Skins are often available during the event and mostly they can be obtained by playing with purchase option also available. Collaboration characters can be farmed during the events for free but require a lot of effort. Alternatively they can of course be bought.

    The game introduces a lot of its updates for the end game players. So even if you see something interesting added to the game it can take over a year for you to reach that content if you are a f2p player. So the experience with the game can differ a lot between early players and end game players. Though looking at it positively the game has a lot in store waiting for you.

    If you end up playing the game it is recommended to look at guides for character upgrades eg. in Reddit so you don't make the usual beginner mistakes.

    Sure this game opens up confusing and overwhelming. But all of that quickly transitions into tons of content and fun. It also is not pay to win.
