2K Drive delivers a solid, console-like racing experience on iPhone and iPad, but you'll need the latest hardware to really enjoy it.

2K Drive represents the link between the mobile platform and a way to create driving titles differently, which aims to offer a more complete product.

While 2K Drive is a bit pricier than the free-to-play competition, there's plenty of mileage behind it, with hours of events to conquer and plenty of cars to test drive. This'll definitely rev your engine.

At the end of the day, despite having to wade through some arguably murky IAP waters, 2K Drive is a ton of fun. It would have been a much stronger experience if it was just a premium game out of the gate, but despite a ton of confusion as to how you're supposed to actually unlock all the content, racing fans will most likely enjoy it.

I will devote more hours to winning more trophies and filling my garage with cars I can only dream of owning, and for seven bucks it’s a fantasy I can finally afford.

It works pretty much in every aspect, except for the progression system. In any case, we rather stick to the pros than the cons, and hope for a sequel to get it fully right.

For sure it´s not the best racing simulator we have played on iOS devices, but 2K Drive offers a great variety of tournaments and races and nice graphics.

The race for the best driving game on mobile almost got interesting, but 2K Drive has too many technical issues to truly keep up with the very best in the field.

2K Drive might not be Project Gotham Racing, but it’s a decent first attempt by Lucid Games to conquer the mobile racing genre. There’s enough room for improvement, but in its core there’s an all right racing game that any fanatic can definitely appreciate.

It's a decent drive that wears its iOS clothing unconvincingly, perhaps a symptom of 2K's inexperience in the area. 2K Drive could have been something special, but it's missing the guiding hand Lucid needed to take it beyond half-heartedly evoking memories of old.

2K Drive is still rough around the edges in spots, most notably with its controls, but given some time for refinements 2K Drive could give other mobile racing games a run for their money in its next iteration.

Lucid is carrying on the spirit of its PGR days with this sim-arcade hybrid, but where Bizarre Creations’ driving games pushed their platforms’ boundaries, 2K Drive is incapable of breaking through the limitations of iOS.

Not only is the driving mediocre, but the menus are outright stupid, the loading times horrible and the user interface is your biggest opponent.

2K Drive races far behind the top tier iOS racing games while delivering a bland experience in almost every regard making it one to steer clear of.
