1-bit Ninja

A unique gameplay experience. Not only a good plataforming game which will be loved by retro fans, but also quite innovative thanks to the use of several points of view and 3D camera.

Personally, I'm completely hooked on 1-bit Ninja, and if you think you're able to accept some of the design decisions in the game and you're a fan of its retro aesthetics, then I'd definitely recommend checking it out.

Reminiscent of the days of the original GameBoy in both graphics and simplistic style, 1-Bit Ninja reveals itself to be anything but, as you switch frequently from the default 2D presentation to 3D to discover and unlock the game's hidden pathways.

Do you pine for something harder than the average platformer? Do you hate predictable level design? Try 1-bit Ninja - it's an old-school flavor with a menacingly modern twist.

With four worlds (five levels each) and unlimited replay value, 1-bit Ninja is a worthwhile purchase for old schoolers, new schoolers, and anyone else looking for a challenging retro platformer.

A retro platformer that stands out from the crowds with its evocative presentation, exploration, and firm-but-fair controls.

1-bit Ninja is a truly nice platform, graphically gorgeous and hard as few others are. The going-forward constriction is certainly the most controversial aspect of the game, but core gamers will probably love it. Unfortunately it lacks of online leaderboards or achievements support, so players will never have a great reward in doing better and better.

1-bit Ninja's appeal is immediate, and its visual style will easily curry favour with anybody that remembers growing up in the '80s and early '90s. Even two decades later, however, Super Mario Land vastly outshines this simple imitation.
