NickJun 18, 2002A very average game with TONS of flaws that could have easily been addressed. Still, a fun game and worth a rental if you've got a few friends who are willing to have some mindless fun. Similar to the Smackdown! series, but different enough that I can actually enjoy this game (I'm HATE those games).

AkiManJun 15, 2002If you're looking to play, something more sim based, look elsewhere. With 6 front moves, and play like Smackdown this is No Mercy nightmare. so sad so sad.

May 16, 2013WWE Wrestlemania 18 has good graphics and controls. But the Path of a Champion is short and there is no need to go through it again when you unlock all of the arenas and the superstars. The Royal Rumble in the exhibition mode is hard to beat.

GMR MagazineRatings have cooled and Stone Cold had some run-ins with John Law. This is irrelevant, as wrestling games always sell. [Feb 2003, p.96]

As good of a wrestling games as I have seen for any next generation console. In fact it is quite a bit better than most. However if Yuke's would implement their older grappling system, this game would have been unstoppable.

Electronic Gaming MonthlyAlmost a wrestling fan's dream come true. But there's one thing that's keeping it from achieving greatness: the incredibly dull Create-A-Superstar mode. [August 2002, p.137]
