TotalGames.netIt's a tough, fun game that will have you coming back for more until you've mastered it. But it all feels a little dated now. Be aware that this isn't your typical shooter either... silent, but violent.
-
Cheat Code CentralAlthough the Cube version may be considered Rainbow Six 3 -Lite, it makes a good first-person shooter...Since there has been so much hype about this series for years, the less you expect from this game the better you'll like it.
-
The game controls well for the GameCube controller, but as Rainbow Six 3 was really designed for the Xbox and PS2, the GC's lack of input buttons does hurt it a bit.
-
I think we can all agree that it's better than Tom Clancy's "Sum of All Fears." Yikes.
-
The AI in the game is competent but not exceptional. Your enemies will often neglect to take cover even though there is some close by and will sometimes charge right into your gunfire.
-
If you're looking for a thinking person's shooter that'll let you go to all corners of the world and hopefully make it back alive, this is the one for you.
-
There is no reason in beating a dead horse; no Gamecube owner expects online gameplay from a Gamecube title. With that said Rainbow Six 3 offers enjoyable squad-based gameplay and will certainly fill up the appetite of Gamecube owners.
